Hey!
My name is Parth, and I am currently a sophomore from Princeton, NJ; I am currently attending the Princeton Day School and will transfer to the Hotchkiss School this fall, 2023. In my free time, I enjoy reading, playing squash, and my favorite activity, listening to music and cooking dishes from all around the world, as well as baking.
Halfway across the globe, in my hands
I was born in India and lived there for the better portion of my life, frequently visiting my family and embracing the traditions passed to me, and upholding my culture through cherishing the delicious foods I had every day. At the age of 8, my parents made the brave decision to start a better life in the United States, and ever since the grim initial 16-hour flight, I have enjoyed every moment of the last few years of my life. Yet India was always my home, and even today I still miss the loud rains and the hot days, thus came the birth of Culturals. Giada De Laurentiis once said that, “Food brings people together on many different levels. It's nourishment of the soul and body; it's truly love.” Though it is hard to visit India, we can keep a piece of it with us through the snacks we ate growing up and even if I am halfway across the globe, a piece of home can always be in my hands.
